Technical requirements
It is important! Before starting to use the software, please read the technical requirements
Below are the minimum system requirements required to install the TourCompilе tour operator software
- For server
- CPU: Intel XEON 2.5 GHz (AMD Opteron server multi-core processor, AMD Athlon 64, Intel Xeon with support for Intel EM64T (64-bit), Intel Pentium IV with support for EM64T (64-bit) or higher is recommended);
- RAM: from 16GB (recommended volume is not less than 1/3 of the database volume);
- HDD: from 500 GB (high-speed disks or RAID array are recommended);
- Microsoft Windows 2016 Server Standard (64-bit) and higher;
- Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Standard Edition (64-bit) and higher (SQL Agent component required)
- Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 17 and higher
- Net Framework version 4.5 or later;
- dedicated static IP address.
- Client workstation
- CPU: Intel Core i3 or higher;
- RAM: 3 GB;
- HDD: 5 GB (during current operation);
- Screen resolution: 1280×1024 and higher (1920×1080 recommended);
- Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit and later (Windows 10 recommended). Working with 32-bit versions of operating systems is possible, but not recommended due to possible difficulties in installing the current version of SQL Native Client (ODBC driver);
- One of the standard Windows OS themes. Working with other themes is possible, but is not officially supported. The "Classic" theme of Windows 7 is not recommended, since it is not supported in newer versions of Windows and leads to the disabling of a number of information display capabilities;
- Office suite (for uploading reports and documents): Microsoft Office 2013 and later (or OpenOffice.org or Libre Office or WPS Office). Working with Microsoft Office 2010 and older is possible, but not officially supported;
- Mail client (for sending mail): Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, TheBat, Mozilla Thunderbird. Microsoft Outlook from the Microsoft Office suite is recommended.

- Online booking system web serverTo run the web application, you need a web server with PHP version 8.1.x with an extension for connecting to SQLServer (sqlsrv).
We recommend using:- modern (released no earlier than 2016) linux as an operating system,
- nginx as a web server,
- php-fpm as a php process manager.
- If the web server will be located on a local network, you will also need a dedicated (external) static IP address
The minimum bandwidth of the web server Internet channel is 10 Mbit/s.
Requirements for web server configuration
The SOFTservice company does not provide server or other equipment for rent or sale. Also, the company does not administer user servers. You must independently prepare the necessary equipment to install all components, provide the required access to our support service, and also administer your infrastructure yourself. The server configuration depends on many factors, such as: the planned volume of requests, the number of calculated prices (packages), the number of simultaneous client connections, and so on. Requirements for web server configuration
To install the software, you must provide access via RDP (port 3389), access to the Microsoft SQL Server (port 1433) to the Database server, as well as access via RDP (port 3389) to the Online server, or SSH access (port 22) for Unix systems.
All servers need access to the Internet (minimum bandwidth 10 Mbit/s).
